- Precorrect and re-teach expectations for problem areas
- CHAMP out activities, especially ones that involve peer work or movement around the classroom; use the Reality Check to assess how the class met the CHAMP expectations
- Arrange the classroom so the teacher has easy access; make sure to position yourself (especially when working with individual students or small groups) to see the entire class
- Predetermined attention signal (i.e. counting to five, certain # of claps, chant, etc.)
